基地位於台南湖美重劃區內，東西向的建築對於光影在空間的呈現可以做完美的表達。建築陽台水平向的挑板設計配合簍空樓板豐富了空間層次，讓風的垂直對流有效的讓熱空氣排出並達到遮陽的最好效果。大量的綠植過濾空氣並達到降低空氣懸浮微粒的效果，讓整體建築空間因為風的流動以及時間差光影的變化交織成美好的景緻。
Description
The site is in Tainan, Humei Redevelopment Zone. The light from the West and East side perfectly projects the shadow on the wall and show the existence of shadows and spaces. The balconies are designed horizontally with the boards which makes the whole building become more interesting. Moreover, taking good advantages of these boards is facilitative for ventilation and shading. “Flora Chateau” derives its name from planting a large amount of vegetation to filter the air and the dust, which is helpful for reducing the pollution. We make an attempt to weave a picturesque scene by highlighting the flow of the wind and the shift of the light and shadow.
